This cookware was created together with the design studio NOA Aachen. Made of stainless steel and silicone, the lid has four different functions.

Practical, because depending on the position, liquids can be drained completely or in a controlled manner with the lid closed: The cooking water escapes through the large strainer openings, leaving the pasta in the pot. The same works with the small strainer openings for rice. The closed position is for low-water cooking, and the open position is for fully draining liquids.

The red ring in the lid is a real eye-catcher. Made of heat-resistant silicone, it always sits firmly in the pot. The heat transfer of the heat is reduced by the special hollow handles, therefore they stay cool longer. For long cooking times or when used in the oven, potholders or oven gloves are still necessary to open the lid and carry the pot.

Das Kochgeschirr entstand zusammen mit dem Designbüro NOA Aachen. Für die Topfdeckel stand der MP3-Player iPod von Apple Pate. Gefertigt aus Edelstahl und Silikon, besitzt der Deckel vier verschiedene Funktionen – angelehnt an das Bedienrad vom iPod.

Praktisch, denn je nach Position lassen sich Flüssigkeiten mit geschlossenem Deckel ganz oder kontrolliert abgießen: Durch die großen Sieböffnungen entweicht das Kochwasser, die Nudeln bleiben im Topf. Dasselbe funktioniert mit den kleinen Sieböffnungen für Reis. Die geschlossene Position ist für wa-sserarmes Garen gedacht und die offene, um Flüssigkeiten voll abzugießen.

Der rote Ring im Deckel ist ein echter Hingucker. Aus hitzebeständigem Silikon gefertigt, sitzt er immer fest im Topf. Die Wärmeübertragung der Hitze wird durch die speziellen Hohlgriffe verringert, daher bleiben sie länger kühl. Bei langen Kochzeiten oder beim Gebrauch im Ofen, sind zum Öffnen des Deckels und Tragen des Topfes dennoch Topflappen oder Ofenhandschuhe notwendig.
