For the caramel sauce:
In a saucepan warm up water with sugar, on a medium heat. Stir until all the sugar melts.
Once it melts completely, stop stirring, raise the heat and leave for about 8-9 minutes. It has to change its color to brown. If it turns brown, add cream immediately and start stirring . Stir and heat until it thickens.
The sauce is now ready to use. You can store the sauce in the fridge for up to a few weeks.

Step 2
For serving:
Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a cup.
Brew one shot of espresso in the WMF FACM Perfection Machine.
Pour the homemade caramel sauce on top and enjoy.
