Asian Cabbage Salad

  • For the salad:
  • 300 g Cabbage (Red cabbage (red cabbage and Chinese cabbage)and Chinese cabbage)
  • 3 Carrots (medium sized)
  • 1 Fresh red chili pepper
  • 4 Spring onions
  • 1 handful Fresh coriander
  • For the dressing:
  • 1 tbsp. Fresh ginger
  • 4 tbsp. Toasted sesame oil
  • 5 tbsp. Unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. Tahini
  • Sea salt and pepper
  • Black sesame seeds & unsalted peanuts as topping

Preparation

Step 1
First prepare the vegetables. Cut the stalk out of the cabbages, peel the carrots, deseed the chili pepper, wash the spring onion and cut everything into fine strips or rings.
For the salad:
g Cabbage (Red cabbage (red cabbage and Chinese cabbage)and Chinese cabbage)

Fresh red chili pepper
Spring onions
Step 2
Gently clean the coriander, then roughly chop. Place the vegetables and coriander for the salad in a large bowl and mix.

For the dressing: Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl, pour over the Asian slaw and fold in thoroughly.

tbsp. Lemon juice
tbsp. Tahini

Finally, garnish with black sesame seeds or unsalted peanuts.
