Carrot Fries with Carrot Top Pesto

Recipe for Multi Taste Hot Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • For the Carrot Fries:
  • 7 Carrots, cut into fries
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 Garlic (to add after cooking)
  • 1 tbsp. Chili flakes
  • For the Carrot Top Pesto:
  • 2 cups Carrot tops, washed and roughly chopped
  • 1 Medium chili with seeds
  • 2 Fresh garlic cloves
  • 100 g Cashews
  • 1 tsp. Salt

Preparation

Step 1
For the Carrot Fries: Preheat the WMF Multi Taste Hot Air Fryer to 200°C (390°F).
Step 2
In a bowl, toss the carrot fries with olive oil and chili flakes until evenly coated.
For the Carrot Fries:
Carrots, cut into fries
tbsp. Olive oil
tbsp. Chili flakes
Step 3
Place the carrot fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary.
Step 4
Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the carrots are golden and tender.
Step 5
After cooking, toss the fries with the grated garlic while still warm.
Garlic (to add after cooking)
Step 6
For the Carrot Top Pesto: In a food processor, combine the carrot tops, chili, garlic cloves, cashews, and salt.
For the Carrot Top Pesto:
cups Carrot tops, washed and roughly chopped
Medium chili with seeds
Fresh garlic cloves
g Cashews
tsp. Salt
Step 7
Pulse until the ingredients are finely chopped.
Step 8
With the motor running, slowly add olive oil until the pesto reaches your desired consistency. Adjust salt to taste.
Step 9
For Serving: Serve the carrot fries warm with the carrot top pesto on the side for dipping or drizzling over the fries.
