Crispy Cauliflower Bites with Gochujang Glaze

Ingredients

  • For the Cauliflower Bites:
  • 1 Small head cauliflower
  • 120 g All-purpose flour
  • 250 ml Almond milk
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp. Salt
  • 60 g Breadcrumbs
  • For the Gochujang Glaze:
  • 1 Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. Fresh ginger, grated
  • 0.25 cups Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. Rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. Gochujang paste
  • 1 tbsp. Sriracha
  • For the Topping:
  • 1 tsp. Sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp. Spring onions

Preparation

Step 1
Cut the cauliflower into medium florets. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, garlic powder and salt.
For the Cauliflower Bites:
Small head cauliflower
g All-purpose flour
ml Almond milk
tsp. Garlic powder
tsp. Salt
Step 2
Add the cauliflower to the batter and toss to coat. Now toss the coated cauliflower florets in the breadcrumbs and mix until well coated.

Step 3
Air-fry on 200°C for 10-15 minutes or until crispy.
Step 4
Now add all the ingredients for the gochujang glaze to a blender and blend until smooth.
For the Gochujang Glaze:
Garlic, minced
tsp. Fresh ginger, grated
cups Soy sauce
tbsp. Maple syrup or sweetener of choice
tbsp. Sesame oil
tbsp. Rice vinegar
tbsp. Gochujang paste
tbsp. Sriracha
Step 5
When the cauliflower is done, add it to a bowl and toss with the glaze. Sprinkle on sesame seeds and chopped scallions and enjoy!
For the Topping:
tsp. Sesame seeds
tbsp. Spring onions
