Plum, pear and cinnamon compote

Ingredients

  • 500 g Pears
  • 500 g Plums or damsons
  • 40 g Brown sugar
  • 0.5 Vanilla pod
  • 0.5 tsp. Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 Lemon

Preparation

Step 1
To begin, peel the pears, quarter, core and cut crosswise into thin wedges. Wash the plums, halve, pit and cut them into wedges as well. Line the perforated insert with baking paper and place the fruit on top. Then mix the sugar with the vanilla pulp and cinnamon and sprinkle over, drizzle with lemon juice and turn gently.

Step 2
Add the minimum required amount of water to the pressure cooker. Place the insert bar inside and close the pot. Heat the pot and once it reaches cooking level 1, cook for 5 minutes. Release the steam from the pot and then open it. Remove the insert with the compote and allow to cool.
